"Can you feel my pain?" she
sighed,
as he fought to keep control,
"Deep within my heart and soul
hurting with you," he replied.
"It's alright." she softly
said,
"We have known this time would come..."
Shadows cast from setting sun,
brilliant colors rise and spread.
Memories lingered past that
day,
parting had been hard to bear,
wishing she were always there.
Yet, inside he knew the way
one day back to her would lead
somewhere through eternity... |
